Raffie, a well-loved dog influencer, has died after suffering a heart attack on Christmas Eve. The sad news was shared by his owner, Maren Peeters, through a video on her TikTok account, TikTok handle bundleofbullies.
In the video, Maren Peeters explained that Raffie was staying at a regular daycare while she was on holiday in Austria. She said an incident happened when one of her other dogs, Pickles, tried to attack Raffie. Moments later, Raffie collapsed and suffered a heart attack.Maren Peeters spoke directly to her followers in a calm but broken voice. She explained what happened step by step and said the daycare owner tried to save Raffie by performing CPR right away.
Sadly, Raffie did not survive. The video quickly spread across social media. Raffie was known for his gentle nature and often appeared in videos that showed daily life with Maren Peeters’ rescued bulldogs. His sudden death on Christmas Eve has left many of his followers who follow him on social media heartbroken.
Maren Peeters shares how Raffie died and updates on Odin’s condition
In her TikTok video, Maren Peeters explained the moment she received the call from the daycare. She said:“I’m in Austria on holiday. Every time I am going on a holiday or going away for a few days, my dogs always go to the same daycare.
I brought all of my dogs to this daycare, and one day after I brought them, I got a call. The owner wanted to put the dogs outside, and Pickles wanted to attack Raffie.”She then shared the most painful part of the incident:“But, Raffie immediately fell dead to the ground. Heart attack. Died. The owner of the daycare immediately did CPR on Raffie. Pickles wanted to attack further, so Odin stepped in. Odin is Raffie’s best friend, and he protected him.
Odin almost died. They managed to put Pickles away, to fight him off, but Raffie was no more. Raffie is dead. I can’t believe it. I still cannot believe it.”Odin, another one of her bulldogs, was rushed to the hospital after trying to protect Raffie. In a later update shared on Instagram, Maren Peeters wrote:“Odin is close to death. My heart breaks. The treatment costs €5,000. I don’t want to ask for donations, but I feel compelled now. Could you please help Odin?”She also said such behavior had never happened when the dogs were with her. In the same TikTok video, she shared:“I cannot live without Raffie. Let’s not forget that Odin tried to save the life of his best friend. And let’s be clear, they never did anything like that when they’re with me.
