Niche has released its 2026 list of the 25 most conservative universities in the US, with Liberty University in Virginia ranked first. The rankings are based on student-submitted surveys reflecting conservative political preferences. Two Alabama institutions — Samford University and Auburn University — made the list. Many top-ranked universities, such as Grove City College and Brigham Young University–Idaho, emphasise Christian or religious values as part of their academic and campus life, as reported by the AL.com.
