South Central Railway has issued an official notification for the recruitment of 2,801 Act Apprentice posts under the Apprentice Act 1961, with the application process closing today at 11:59 pm. The vacancies span several trades such as Electrician, Fitter, COPA, Welder and others across SCR units. Candidates who have passed Class 10 with ITI in the relevant trade are eligible to apply. Applications, which began on March 12, 2026, must be submitted online through the official SCR portal. Selection will be carried out on the basis of a merit list prepared from Class 10 and ITI marks with equal weightage, followed by document verification and medical examination.
