The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office said Eatherly is facing multiple serious charges, including attempted murder, aggravated assault, reckless endangerment with a deadly weapon, and employing a firearm during a dangerous felony.
Officials also confirmed that he is currently being held at the Montgomery County jail until bond is decided during an arraignment hearing.
Police have not publicly identified the second man involved in the confrontation. However, a witness who claimed she saw the aftermath of the incident said the injured man was loaded into an ambulance shortly after the shooting. Local resident Claire Martin, who works across the street from the courthouse, claimed that the streamer was already well known in Clarksville for allegedly provoking people while filming public videos. She accused him of yelling racial slurs and trying to get reactions from strangers during livestreams.Martin said she did not witness the shooting itself but saw what happened afterward.
