A recent livestream conversation involving popular creator Connor “CDawgVA” Colquhoun has sparked fresh discussion around YouTube star Jimmy “MrBeast” Donaldson. During a broadcast with Chris Broad and Robert “Robcdee,” CDawgVA claimed that MrBeast does not like being discussed by other well-known creators and may even reach out to them when it happens.The comments gained attention after a clip from the stream was shared on the r/LivestreamFail subreddit on June 7, 2026. In the video, Chris Broad suggested that MrBeast sometimes contacts creators who speak about him publicly. That led CDawgVA to share a personal story about an interaction he says he had with the YouTube star. As of now, MrBeast has not publicly responded to the claims, and the comments remain one-sided accounts from the creators involved.
CDawgVA shares alleged interaction with MrBeast while Chris Broad’s past criticism resurfaces
While discussing the topic, CDawgVA claimed that MrBeast becomes uncomfortable when respected creators discuss him online.According to CDawgVA, “There is this compulsion that he has where other YouTubers talk about him, he doesn’t like it. He hates it when other reputable YouTubers talk about him.”The streamer then described what he said happened after he discussed MrBeast publicly. According to his account, MrBeast reached out and asked to speak with him.
CDawgVA explained, “He’ll message you and he’ll be like, ‘Why are you talking …?’ So, we were talking …, and so he messaged me. He’s like, ‘Hey, can we chat?’ And I’m like, ‘Sure!’”He went on to say that a call was arranged but never happened because he missed the first attempt. Later, when another conversation was discussed, CDawgVA said he noticed MrBeast was attending the NBA Finals at the time.Recalling the moment, he said, “I checked, like, he’s literally at the NBA finals. I was like, ‘Bro, you can’t call. What are you talking about?’ I was also like, ‘Also, why is this so important?’”The discussion also brought renewed attention to comments Chris Broad made in 2024.
At the time, Broad criticized MrBeast for partnering with Logan Paul on the Lunchly food product.In a post shared on X in October 2024, Broad said he was disappointed by the collaboration because of Logan Paul’s past controversies. He specifically referenced the widely criticized Aokigahara Forest video from 2017 and questioned why MrBeast chose to work with him.For now, there is no public response from MrBeast regarding CDawgVA’s latest remarks. Because the claims come from personal accounts shared during a livestream, only those directly involved know what was said in private conversations.
