On February 22, 2026, an X user named @ClippedHubb posted that Cheesur was being “credited online” with giving key information that helped the Mexican military kill El Mencho, who is known as the leader of the cartel CJNG. The post spread fast and crossed 3.2 million views before it was deleted. There has been no official statement from Mexican authorities confirming any link between Cheesur and the situation. The next day, Cheesur went live and spoke directly to viewers. He said he felt betrayed and claimed people were blaming him for something he had nothing to do with. During the stream, he used angry language and strong words to express how upset he was. He swore that his X Community, known as YTG, would be deleted that same day.
