A new letter in the Nancy Guthrie case was sent to TMZ, reportedly demanding one bitcoin in exchange for information about “Today” show host Savannah Guthrie’s mother’s kidnapper.TMZ reported that the $66,000 payment would be in exchange for the “name of the individual involved.”
The letter, described as the third alleged note sent out since Nancy was last seen on January 31, contained details of a working bitcoin address, TMZ host Harvey Levin said during Wednesday’s appearance on Fox News’ “America Newsroom.”“If they want the name of the individual involved then I want 1 Bitcoin to the following wallet. Time is more than relevant,” the note said, New Nation reported.“They said they want one Bitcoin sent to a Bitcoin address that we have confirmed is active. It’s a real Bitcoin address, and as they put it, time is more than relevant,” Levin said. “So we have no idea whether this is real or not. But they are making a demand.”
