Several CBSE schools in Bengaluru are facing a shortage of NCERT textbooks, particularly for Classes 6–9, with Class 9 being the worst affected due to a newly introduced syllabus. Schools are relying on digital PDFs, DIKSHA resources, and limited library copies, but educators say the absence of physical textbooks is disrupting teaching, assignments, and classroom activities. Parents and booksellers have expressed frustration, while school leaders warn that delays could impact learning continuity and board exam preparation.
