V Sandhya, daughter of an autorickshaw driver from Chennai, secured 595 out of 600 marks in the Tamil Nadu Class 12 board examinations and emerged as the topper of Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Ashok Nagar. She credited her success to disciplined preparation and avoiding social media during examinations. Sandhya scored centums in accountancy, commerce and economics and now plans to pursue Chartered Accountancy. Her school recorded a 99.4% pass percentage in the TN HSC Result 2026.
